A Sleep Book for Toddlers

October 30th, 2010

Most parents would like to believe that it is only babies who have different sleep patterns to adults. Unfortunately they couldn’t be wrong.

Not particularly good news for sleep deprived parents but most baby sleep books would lead you to believe it’s only babies who have particular sleep issues, but toddlers come with a whole new batch of sleep problems as well.

Fortunately for parents,  The Baby Sleep Site™ announced a new book that has recently been released that is dedicated to toddler sleep problems. It is titled “The Tired Parent’s 5-Step System to Better Toddler Sleep,” written by Nicole Johnson, baby/toddler sleep coach and site owner.

Welcoming Babies At Work

October 20th, 2010

Imagine a world without day care centers or baby sitters. Scary would you say? Well what if they have become obsolete because there is no more need for them as parents are allowed to bring their babies to work and, when their babies are older, they can be enrolled in play school whilst their parents are working. This may seem impossible now but may very well be a reality if companies allow their employees to bring their babies to work.

Fortunately, one company is experimenting with the idea and has implemented this exciting new program. Hot Studio, an award-winning experience design company with offices in San Francisco and New York City, announces the launch of a pilot babies-at-work program in which new parents can bring their babies to work and care for them whilst doing their jobs until the babies reach eight months of age or start to crawl.

In launching this pilot program, Hot Studio is working closely with the Parenting in the Workplace Institute, a non-profit based in Salt Lake City, Utah, that is focused on providing resources and assistance with the implementation of sustainable babies-at-work programs.

A Miracle Baby Kaidyn is Born

October 16th, 2010

Miracles are often believed to be extraordinary events that occur due to some divine intervention. And God often seems to perform miracles through medical advances, and the perseverance and hard work of extraordinary people doing extraordinary work for their loved ones or their countrymen or the people they serve in their profession. And that is why miracles are not a rare event anymore.

Miracles happen almost everyday as more and more people go to great lengths to help and serve their fellow human beings.

The name Kaidyn is an appropriate one for Hurley Medical Center‘s latest miracle baby.

A Crash Course on How Men Become Dads

October 3rd, 2010

Daddies always take the supporting role when a new baby arrives. But that doesn’t mean that their role is necessarily less important or easier than that of mommies.

Being often less emotionally adept than mothers, fathers tend to shy away from asking advise from experienced dads on the what and how of being a new father.

In fact, Dads often just don’t know how to ask for advice on anything! It seems unmanly to gather around and talk about diaper duties and diaper rashes. But since we are living in the modern world where the roles of mothers and fathers are equally important and interchangeable, it is high time that fathers openly discussed what fathers should do.

Water Bobble’s Baby is Born

October 3rd, 2010

When I first read about the water bobble, I was intrigued. This revolutionary product promises to help the environment by minimizing the use of disposable water bottles and saves us money from regularly buying bottled water.

The concept behind this green product is very simple: a reusable water container that is able to filter the water placed inside so that when water comes out of the container it is safe to drink. Due to the success of this product, a new line of water bobbles was introduced for the younger audience.
